After signing of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, Croatia has simplified administrative procedures for acquiring ownership of real estate in Croatia by foreign nationals of EU member states. Now they are able to buy the property under the same conditions as Croatian citizents (The exceptions are: agricultural land area protected under the Law on the Protection of Nature).
